Use of modern technology

What is machine?
The machine is a tool, which reduces the human effort.Since when the different kind of machines are introduced, the productivity is increased every time and thats why we keep making more and more advanced machines. Now,If we talk about the machines in context of governmental administration,it holds great opportunities in this field. As we see in routine life, there are n numerous applications where we can utilize some advanced technologies.
e.g.(1)Cleaning of roads is done manually by humans everyday instead of that we can have automatic cleaners to do the same task
(2)In construction of roads instead of using conventional process, using advanced road making machines which increases the quality and life time roads.

These are very few to count but as we see there so many applications where we can move one step ahead and can make difference.Initial cost might be high but when we project the future it is always fruitful and wise decision. After all Gujarat is all about innovations and inspirations!!!

Japan and South Korea home in on Gujarat.

Japan and South Korea have emerged as the best bets for Gujarat to emerge as the new Asian tiger. Obviously, the state’s strategic location, with an open access to ports which can take goods to the Middle East, Africa and Europe is driving both the Asian industrial giants to the state.

The high-tech Korean Industrial Complex (KIC), being set up in Valsad district in south Gujarat at the proposed Gujarat Vittal Innovation City (GVIC), is expected to “accelerate the bilateral trade and investment linkages between the two countries in a big way”, notes the joint statement issued by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Lee Myung-bak, President of South Korea.

The South Koreans have followed Japan, a partner country in Vibrant Gujarat ’09. A strong Japanese presence in Gujarat is a surety in the coming days. The Japanese are looking Pipavav and Bhavnagar for their activities very keenly.

A marine ship building park with Japanese support is being proposed at Pipavav. This would be the second one in Gujarat after Dahej. Thanks to cheap labour and locational advantage, Japan and South Korea are looking closely at Gujarat as a manufacturing base.

Partners in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Japan also plans its own exclusive mini-Japan township in Dholera Special Investment Region. Now, a similar township has been planned by the South Koreans in Valsad.

After two years of scouting around India to set up Korean Industrial Park, the Korea Land Corporation, now Korea Land & Housing, 100 per cent owned by the Govt of Korea, zeroed in on Gujarat and the Gujarat Vittal Innovation City SEZ Project in South Gujarat being jointly promoted by a EMPI Vittal Centre INNOPOLIS Consortia and the GIDC, GoG on 1,100 hectares.

Gujarat Vittal Innovation City is the India’s First Planned High-Tech Cluster of Industry, Academia & Community. KLC has planned to re-locate certain Korean Companies from China and 800 acres of land has been reserved by the GVIC for development of the Korean park.

Shri Ratilal Chandaria Honoured for Contribution to Gujarati Language

Vishwa Gujarati Parishad gave an excellent tribute to the great work done by Gujaratilexicon in Swarnim Gujarat Celebrations held at Education Society Ground, Ahmedabad, 23rd January.

VGP's Krishnakant Vakharia (President) mentioned that different people contributed to Gujarati language - like Hemchandra gave grammar, Gujarat Vidyapeeth gave Sarth, Bhagwadsinhji gave Bhagwadgomandal. And Shri Ratilal Chandaria gave GujaratiLexicon. Fortunately, GujaratiLexicon has digitized all these works and more.

One can find Sarth, Bruhad, Bhagwadgomandal at Gujaratilexicon
Shri Ratilal Chandaria's one dream came true when Bhagwadgomandal website was Live for the people across the world. Bhagwadgomandal is the biggest and the most prolific work in Gujarati.

Gujarati Lexicon is a landmark work in the history of Gujarati language containing resources of more than 35 lakh words. It aims to preserve, popularize and develop Gujarati language through the power of information technology. Lovers of Gujarati language can develop vocabulary, enjoy literature, read exclusive literature and join our mission through GujaratiLexicon. Today, when we write to GL and we get a reply within 24 hours. The regular communication and projects are testament to his management skills.

More than 22,000 forms have already been distributed by the civic body and they expect at least 10,000 participants in the age group of seven to 14 years, 15 to 35 years, 35 to 60 years and over 60 years.

The 5-km run will start from SVNIT on Gaurav Path to Magdalla Bhavidarshan Sankul. In all categories of men and women, children and senior citizens will run one km less and will start the race from Kargil Chowk and finish at Bhavidarshan Sankul.

"We have got sponsorship from seven big companies including Reliance, Gujarat Gas and others so we are planning to distribute T-shirts to every participant," said an official from SMC. Entry form is compulsory and so SMC will know exactly how many participants are participating.

"We have approached and distributed forms in many educational institutions, social organisations, companies and other institutes of the city, and we expect many to turn up for the event," said an official.

Vehicular traffic has been prohibited on both sides of Gaurav Path from SVNIT circle to SK Nagar circle. SMC has already organised four mini marathons in four zones of the city. Sunday's event will be a culmination of all the four.
